importantInformation Because California is experiencing a severe drought, California State Parks is taking measures to reduce water usage. The showers at the park are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are very sorry for the impacts the drought is having, and do certainly hope for a wetter season next year. Thank you for visiting your California State Parks. All showers operate with tokens only, not quarters, which can be purchased at the kiosk. Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). WARNING!! The maximum length for trailers is 15 feet. The maximum length for motorhomes is 18 feet. Any trailers or motorhomes longer than these limits are not allowed at this park. WARNING: Metal bear resistant food lockers are provided in each campsite. All food, beverages, and toiletries are required by law to be stored in provided food lockers. The inside dimensions of the food lockers are 36" deep, 43" wide, and 22" high. Violators will be cited. Camp at your own risk! By choosing to enter or camp at D.L. Bliss SP, you assume the risk of personal injury or property damaged caused by bears. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). 2017 Reservation Period: Sites 1-32 (Lower Pines): Reservations available June 15 - September 3; CLOSED when not on reservations. Sites 33-90 (Upper Pines): Reservations available June 15 - September 3; CLOSED when not on reservations. Sites 91-112 (East Ridge): 1st1st May 25 - June 7; reservations available June 8 - September 3; CLOSED when not on reservations or 1st1st. Sites 113-130 (West Ridge): 1st1st May 25 - June 7; Reservations available June 8 - September 3; CLOSED when not on reservations or 1st1st. Sites 141-165 (Beach Camp): 1st1st May 25 - June 7; Reservations available June 8 - September 3; CLOSED when not on reservations or 1st1st. Group Camp: Reservations available June 8 - September 3; CLOSED when not on reservations. This park is above 6,200-ft elevation. Campsite availability is subject to unpredictable and adverse weather conditions including snow closures, which may result in cancelled reservations. Campers are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and camping gear for cold weather conditions.
